Tanisa Dhingra is a perfect example of a strong willed person who survived cancer and now works for Google. Here is her #TheRealNakhreWaali journey.
“Cancer stormed into my life back in 2016 and took me by storm. But as they say ‘Nothing can hurt you without your permission’ so I didn’t let it break me. As part of my recovery I had to move to USA during this phase and I made so many memories out of the most challenging time, by making friends at the most uncommon places and travelling my heart out. It made me a new person. I wanted to make a significant difference to society and bring awareness that life is beyond my disease, it is in moments you miss out on living.
I want people to detoxify from the word ‘Cancer’ and look at it from a new perspective. It’s a difficult journey, but it should not pull you down.
I say – keep it real! Keep it moving! If you are someone who knows how to flaunt your ‘real’ in the toughest of times, you are doing justice to your story.
If you ask me, I am ‘The Real NakhreWaali’, not just because of my journey, but because of my unburdened enthusiasm to live life. On a scale of 1 to 10, my enthusiasm would topple over Ranveer Singh’s. For me having a LIT life does not make you ‘The Real NakhreWaali’ , living one does. To all the women who are fierce, fun and fab – You are the Real NakhreWaali”
